Only one person shows up for PETA protest

We all are continually being bombarded with PETA'S rhetoric and propaganda concerning the Canadian seal hunt. They would like us all to think that the whole world is outraged because Canada is conducting a humane harvesting of the most numerous marine mammal on the planet, the harp seal. The link below shows the real world a little clearer. A PETA protest in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania had the very large turnout of ...one person. A mock bottle of Canadian syrup was broken (of course this has nothing to do with the seal hunt but that is another story) and then I guess the little PETA people danced around or something.

I would like to remind anyone who donates money to PETA is that this is how your donations are being spent. The thirty one million dollars that PETA earned last year is pissed away in demonstrations just like this one. You may think that the donations are going to help animals in need but...very little of it is. Read the news article for yourself.

"The protest, which drew but one local supporter, was intended to call attention to what PETA calls the slaughter of thousands of baby harp seals. PETA is hoping a reduction in maple syrup sales will get the Canadian government to ban the seal's killing."
